Bessie at rainy dusk.

New toys just beg to be played with. It was a rainy evening when I decided to see how the camera would do at on the go photos. Since the camera has immensely limited capabilities, everything comes out a little blurry giving it an almost watercolor effect. The flash is useless it seems and photos will never be good enough resolution for printed photos. But hopefully, I’ll be able to take some interesting photos when the moment strikes.

It is a cool, rainy evening. But that won t stop us from enjoying Ice Cream at Baker s in New Berlin, Wisconsin.

A long, cool, rainy week won’t stop Wisconsinites from enjoying a good ice cream treat. Bessie met with the Milwaukee Minis at Baker’s Ice Cream Parlour and Eatery in New Berlin, Wisconsin. We enjoyed a great meal, dessert and conversation. Baker’s sports an old-fashioned interior complete with fully-stocked candy stand and player piano. Imaginative sundae treats line the menu for every ice cream aficionado. If you ever try the “Accountant’s Favorite” let me know and take a photo!

Bessie in spots!

The Milwaukee Minis stampeded through the Wisconsin State Fair grounds. The crowds herded around to stare at the strange calvacade of Minis with their spots, bandanas, cow antenna decorations and crazy cow hats. It was a difficult drive with the people pressing in close to the street and dashing between vehicles. Luckily, no one lost any toes, legs or strollers. We did keep losing our spots, unfortunately, but the cow illusion was complete. After the parade, we joined the throngs of people and visited the many sites finishing with a delicious treat of flavored milk.
