A hot day in Texas calls for the cooling effects of gelato at Teo’s. We certainly had Gelato and Bella Vita, but we didn’t feel like an Espresso. Bessie enjoyed the shade while we sampled the local wares and shopped the cute stores round the corner.

Bessie and four friends travelled the flat plains, rolling hills and a ferry to Corpus Christi and Scoopy’s Ice Cream. It was a delicious treat after a long day of trying our hardest to find something do with our selves in an unfamiliar town. The Blue Bell ice cream came in a variety of flavors, all very tasty. Plus, it had a wonderful view of the waters of the Gulf of Mexico and Corpus Christi lining the horizon.

Bessie wound her way down to Waterford for treats at Uncle Harry’s in Waterford, Wisconsin. There we had award winning, fresh custard that was delicious! Afterwards, we burned off many calories on the local swingsets and relived our childhood moments.
