Bessie clean again. $6.50 well spent, but I never would pay the full $13.00.

Bessie’s clean again! Not for long though knowing Wisconsin winters. It was too cold to wash her the old fashioned way, so off we went to find a good wash for a cheap price.

I’ve never taken Bessie through an automatic carwash. In fact, I’ve never taken any car through an automatic carwash. I’m much too cheap. Luckily for us cheapskates, the washes were half off. So, we went all out and spent $6.50 to get her the equivalent of a $13.00 wash.

Under a blanket of snow

Here’s Bessie. Cold and in the dark. She doesn’t even get a garage space. “What’s a garage?” she’d say if she could talk, but she can’t.

In a week Bessie and I brave traffic of Chicago to visit the new special edition MINI at the Chicago Autoshow. I survived rush hour through Dallas, so how hard could Chicago be?

Bessie FINALLY has her new tire. Its taken 12 days to get one. According to MINI, there are no Dunlop runflats available until the end of the month. According to Big Bear Tire, Oconomowoc, you can have the same Dunlop runflat the next day. Plus, it’s about half-price. So, if you’re looking for new tires for your sporty Cooper, visit Bigbeartire.com and tell them I sent you. And yes, that is Bessie on their website.
